I am pretty sure it is handset dependent. The non-ev-do phone like the Rumor cannot receive call while data activity is happening. However I did notice that the Rumor (unlike previous non-ev-do phones) can finally send texts while data activity is happening. |

Budney & Larry--- Thanks for the replys. I will make sure to research this issue before I purchase a new handset. I love the power vision, but HATE the fact that I can't get calls. When I am ready to buy, I will make sure I throw it out there for any suggestions you may have that would be better suited for me. |

By the way the Rumor has been a major sucess for Sprint and they are currently selling like crazy. Good to finally see Sprint with a major hit phone of their own. |

I was in an Alltel store the other day with my sister, and saw their version or the Rumor (the Scoop) and I think it's ugly.. Same phone, I know, but the color schemes are just really ugly. If I had been considering a phone from Alltel, I don't think I would have really looked twice at the Scoop/Rumor just for that reason.

Larry, had I been able to get the Sprint side of SERO in my area I would have got an LG Rumor. I just like the looks of it, the slide out keyboard, and the price for what you get seems very reasonable.

Images: 146 | Yeah for $50 it's a great deal for qualified upgraders. Someone sent me a message that Radio Shack is or was selling them for $30 now.

Larry, how's the Rumor been working for you? Will you post a review soon?

my wife and I just purchased the rumor and we love it so far. is it capable of playing music through a stereo bluetooth headset? I have a pair of bluetooth sunglasses that has a stereo headset and I have not seen an option for this, I read a review on cnet that said it was capable but I haven't been able to find out how yet? |

I don't think the Rumor is A2DP (stereo bluetooth) capable. It is not listed as being so on Phonescoop. LG Rumor / Scoop / UX-260 Specs & Features (Phone Scoop)
