Thanks lonwolf00. I don't know anyone who actually works for Sprint so thought that email address was one commonly used. The SERO discount is way better than the discount they give to military so I thought it might be worth a try. Brad

Hey, I know this thread is a bit on the dead side but I'm hoping to sign up for a SERO plan but am finding that the commonly used emails aren't really working. Is there any way somebody could PM me with their email if they're an employee? much appreciated

Hi I have a list of emails from the interoperability sales kit - however I dunno if I want to chance using them since I don't really know them at all through any degrees =) Thus, may I have an email PM'd to me? (Signing both my wife and I up for an account so we can refer each other =) ) Thanks in advanced!

Ello, My contract is up. I have have a mogul that my dad gave to me (Wants the latest technology but has no idea on how to use it) and now all I need is a sero plan to seal the deal. If anyone can help me out with a referral that would make my day. Just drop me a message.

I would love to get in the SERO program as well. I called the SERO cs number on the website and they told me the email address used will be sent a confirmation email to make sure the referral is legitimate. Are there any kind-hearted sprint employees out there willing to refer me? By the way - what do you guys think of the Mogul vs the Moto Q9c?

Hi, I was just trying to do the SERO plan and it kept saying any credit card I use was not valid. I tried it both in IE and Firefox. Then I even called one of the phone numbers and the lady wouldn't let me get the plan. What should I do? Is an invalid e-mail creating this problem? I tried a few. If that's the case, can someone send me a valid one? Otherwise, is it just a website glitch and I need to try again some other day? Or, should I try calling again and again until I get someone who will give me the plan? Thanks in advance for your help.

Time flies when you're having fun! Two years ago I was here working at getting SERO. Finally got a legitimate referral email address from a local store rep with permission to use it (back when they were capped at 5 referrals). Called retentions to cancel our two existing lines and start over with SERO and he assured me he could match the SERO prices and features. Well, what he talked me into was a "glued-together" plan that took months to get the credits right and never was 100% what was promised, but I could live with it. Well, guess what? Plan expired 3/24 and our bill jumped $90. It's never been a great fit (too few minutes for me and too many for the kids with stock 1000 $40 minute plans). My husband is asking their business rep at Sprint if he would consider giving me a referral. If so, I assume I have to call retentions, cancel our existing numbers (bummer -- should have done it two years ago) and start over online? We need 3 separate numbers -- two $30 plans and one $50 plan. I just want to be sure I follow the steps correctly if I actually get a legitimate referral. It would be lovely if retentions would just switch us over (and we're willing to get new phones) but I'm thinking they won't. If I can actually get this done, I'm never looking at renewals again!!!

| Personally, I am becomign scared of Sprint - especially whe a two year contract is necessary. According to a May article on CNET, Sprint has lost over 1 million post-pay customers per quarter for the past two quarters and over 500K prepay customers for about the same period. Sprint Nextel continues to bleed customers | Tech news blog - CNET News.com Given that track record, we may be fortunate if we don't get a SERO email address that works since the best possible price for worthless merchandise is still too much. I've heard many stories about Sprint's customer service, many more about subscribers having no service in the very areas in which they spend the most time. Granted, there are probably some positive experiences too and, as I've found out myself, even Verizon has major issues, notably price and it's "big brother" attitude. Maybe if we're lucky, the wireless phone industry will combine with the cable TV industry and create the ultimate dynasty of worst practices. Now, TMobile and Suncom are merging and it's anybody's guess whether good will triumph over evil or vice versa. For now, I am sticking with what I've got until all this turmoil settles down a bit. |

Worthless merchandise? Let's not get carried away. Despite them losing customers and a lot of bad publicity floating around there are still over 50 million customers and a lot of loyal customers who are very satisfied and they can still be a great choice for many. There are also more problems on the IDEN side of things than the CDMA side. But the CDMA side is also taking a bad rap because of the IDEN problems. Last edited by larry; 05-18-2008 at 8:42 PM.
