Sprint has, in the past, allowed existing customers to switch to SERO, but required them to get new numbers if they wanted to do so. You can try porting your number to a service like AT&T's GoPhone, then port it back to Sprint. Should work. | |

Thanks AnthroMatt. I'm guessing when I port my number out, they will hit me with the $175 cancellation fee?? Anyone had any luck with switching an existing number? I would greatly appreciate a Sprint employee sharing an email address with me... Also, can this switch to SERO be done online or do I have to call in? Thanks for assistance.

Yeah, they will hit you with the fee if you do it before your contract is up. But they will hit you with the fee if want to switch "within" Sprint to SERO. And I don't think they credit it in that case either, unless you get lucky. Basically it's their way to try and keep existing customers from switching to the special plans that lower their revenue.

Thank you everyone for your responses. I will just wait until July when my contract is up and then port my number to a go phone and then get the sero program. LARRY, or anyone. Any chance you could send me a SERO email address. Thanks in advance.

Got an email...Thanks Larry. But now, after I enter the email, the sero site just clocks and eventually times out. Am I doing something wrong? J
