free unlimited texting on old SERO plans!!!!

so i called in to SPrint cuz i saw the advert for free unlimited texting til June 30..........told her i had SERO and wanted to add the free unlimited texting and she gave it to me!!!!! SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What advert? I got them to give me 500 free txt msgs every month for my contract term. Anyone else know anything about this?

I wonder if you would have to do another two year contract for that. I am almost a year into my contract now.

I didn't have to. I had the 500 free too and was about to go over. I told them I'd pay for 1000 or unlimited texts with some sort of discount. They just gave me unlimited for free! Wish I stayed on the 500 minute $30 plan though, I haven't used more than 600 minutes since I came back to Sprint..figures!

the thing about SERO is that it is only a standard Fair and Flexible Plan and they just enter in these codes to enhance the plan.........adding the unlimited text messaging was not a matter of changing the plan but of typing in a code to make an addition to it.......

I believe that is what it is too. I called them last night and he was going to give it to me. He originally said that it would be easier if I went to a store but, I said it aint going to happen because the store reps tend to be complete morons. At least the ones at my local Sprint store and I explained why. He said he found the code and it should take effect at the beginning of my next billing cycle...which is Monday.

I'm 99% positive that it is just a normal plan with codes because the rep that I had forgot to add the Vision and the Picture Mail codes so i called in and the rep said it was all just codes.
I'm surprised. When I called in, they backdated the addition of the code so it would cover all the text messages that i had this month. My billing cycle ends on the 30 so she said that since i would lose the ability to check my texts and minutes by the plan change.........she would just backdate the code to cover the messages so i wouldnt have to worry about going over my allotted 1000 that i had........

Do you or anyone else know if the unlimited n&w thing is a code thing too because I signed up with SERO when it was n&w starting at 9pm and now it starts at 7pm. I wanted to try and get the 7pm thing but the rep said there isn't codes for that. I wanted to see what others said to be sure.

well if Sprint manges to change little things like that that would make the SERO they offer now completely different plan-wise from the SERO they had before..........i font think you can get unlimited N&W as a code i think that prolli is part of the plan
