no access to power vision...need help uploading ringtones...

okay heres my situation. my dad had sprint block power vision from our phones, so we cant even go on for a second. I create my own ringtones with this program i have and i use to send it to my phone with an online uploader. The only problem is all the uploaders require you to go to a url on your phone to download the ringtone.

does anybody know a way where i can just send the ringtone directly? without having to go online on my phone? or does anyone know any other way ofr getting ringtones besides bluetooth. any help would be great!!!

Depending on your phone model you could always pick up a USB cable and use BitPim. Here is the link to get BitPim, and don't worry its a free program and you can check to see if your phone model is supported.....http://www.bitpim.org/#download-devel

hey thanks, great site. unfortuntly my phone isnt even on the list of working models. i have a samsung a900. ughhhh. anyone else know another way of doing this?

What kind of phone do you have? You can transfer the photos to your phones memory card, then assign them like that. Just make sure you resize the photos to fit your screen correctly.

well i dont care about wallpaper cause i have a cam phone, Samsung A900. i needed the help with ringtones. I make my own but cant access power vision on my phone cause my parents have it blocked. So uploaders ive used havent been working cause they send a download url to get the ringtone.

I have a Treo 650 and was wondering if anyone knows about uploading ringtones and appilactions without having to pay Sprint for it. I know of sites where I can get them from free but i'm having a hard time figuring out how to add them to the phone. All the ringtones I have currently downloaded have been saved to my SD card on the phone, and they will only play in the "real player" program and not as part of my ringers. can anyone help me.

if your phone has bluetooth the you could try to bluetooth them but there is the risk that they will become read only............this happened to me and i had to hard reset my phone........i lost everything
