| I am as excited about this as I would be about getting a vasectomy. I have owned/used Moto phones since the StarTac, because, well, I use all four major players (T-Mobile, Sprint, VZW, and Cingular), and trust me if it weren't for Moto's marketing department and people's morbid addiction to cool, we wouldn't even be talking about this. Moto's devices, especially this one and the upcoming KRZR and Q for Sprint, are form over function, and Moto's quality control has long been in a witness protection program.

Seems like Sprint has always had trouble making deals with Motorola to provide their latest and most popular phones. It took them about 2 years to finally land the StarTac back in 2000 after it had been on the market for a long time. They didn't get the V60 until way after it had reached it's prime. And now same thing with the RAZR. At least they are not making the same mistake with the KRZR.

| I think it's important for Sprint to get these phones or rather have them in their lineup, but I didn't think people should get terribly excited about them. Expectation is the mother of disappointment, so expecting too much could lead to an anti-climatic letdown.

Fry's Electronics here in the West just got the RAZR's in. But they're priced at $289 which is the same as what Sprint charges. Fry's normally has lower prices on most phones than Sprint so this is disappointing. I was thinking they would be like $249 or something.
