Default Various Questions

Background: Samsung A900 w/ Sprint SERO 500 plan

1. Using the web services on the phone, I logged into my Gmail account and tried to send an email. When I hit send, it asks me to CONFIRM, "The request was redirected and will require user data to be resubmitted. Are you sure you want to continue?" When I hit OK, the Confirmation message just pops back up. I checked and the message comes through, even though the Confirmation message keeps popping back up.

Any ideas why this happens?

2. When I click on WEB, it takes me right back to the last page I was at. Is the data connection kept open??? Or am I suppose to sign off somehow? When I hit END, does this disconnect me?

3. Connect vs Always AutoConnect ??? What's the advantage of choosing Connect? You have to select it everytime you want to connect.

Once you go on the web and then end a data session the little vision arrows on the screen will become inactive and stay on the screen and wait for the next session (during the inactive period you can make and receive calls fine). In order to end a data session completely you have to go into the settings > PCS Vision > disable Vision. Or of course turn the power off and back on. Keep in mind when using the web and the data arrows are moving/flashing you cannot receive calls at all (they will be directed to voice mail).

When will this issue be resolved so that it is possible to receive calls while using data? I believe that you can do this on Cingular phones.

I don't know. I haven't heard of any fix for this yet.

That'll be nice if they come up with a fix for that...

I just started to notice that sometimes my phone gets really laggy. It's a Samsung A900 and when I click on Menu, it sometimes takes a while... it kinda freezes. Is this normal?

Did you download any screensavers, or custom images?

My LG PM-225 has about a half second delay from when I press a menu function to the time it reacts to the press. Some phones are like that. But I don't remember my old Samsung A680 being that bad.

No, I haven't downloaded anything. Most everything is still set to factory default. It was working fine till today. I did take a few test pics and a short test video.

Does removing the battery for a minute fix it?
