Question Cingular in Virginia Beach
I will be vacationing in Virginia Beach & Norfolk Virginia this summer. How is the Cingular coverage around Sandbridge and Oceana Naval Air? Are they now using Suncoms towers?

It's not SunCom anymore. It should show up on your phone as Cingular now.

Most of Hampton Roads is pretty well covered, however there are a few dead spots the farther you get from the more urban areas. If you have a Cingular plan from elsewhere in the country, you should have no problems in VA Beach (esp the oceanfront).

In VA Beach today. My 6230 and V551 with AT&T SIMS both show SunCom and TMobile....The network search indicates 310-490 (SunCom) and 310-260 (TMobile)
