| I came across something odd today and thought I would post it here. I know there is no MetroPCS network here, but today I noticed a new (or previously unnoticed by me) MetroPCS store. Does anyone know if there are plans for MetroPCS to build some sort of network here? Or is there some way that this MetroPCS store sells phones for business travellers to the nearby Dallas market or something? |

| | MetroPCS will probably start rolling out service in the new areas it acquired a 1700 MHz AWS license for. According to PhoneScoop's map, you're in such an area. They bought the license to cover Dallas, so I'm sure that's the focus, but maybe they'll cover your area too? (Why doesn't the embedded img tag work?)A Visual Guide to AWS (Phone Scoop) |

| Ok, well thats something that I wasn't even aware of. Well, I'll keep an eye on that and see maybe when MetroPCS opens that store or something. Also, a couple weeks ago I did see a new set of panels being added to a cell site. Wheter thats related or not, who knows. |

| They are definitely coming here. Here is an article that I found online: MetroPCS expands to Shreveport-Bossier City - Dallas Business Journal: MetroPCS expands to Shreveport-Bossier City .. I've already seen 4 of their retail stores. They will have a lot of stores here than Verizon or Sprint has, and definitely more than T-Mobile (there are no T-mobile outlets here). |
