How realistic is it for someone to get out of their Suncom contract, scott free, once T-Mo takes over? The thought process here is that I signed an agreement with Suncom, not T-Mo. How sucessful have others been when getting out of contracts due to mergers? |

Its probably not going to happen. Your only hope is if you can prove loss of coverage or service after the merger is complete, then maybe you can get out. When TMO buys Suncom, they are buying your contract too. Its like when your mortgage gets sold. You still owe your monthly payments to whatever bank owns the mortgage, no matter who gave you the loan initially. -Jay

| Wirelessly posted (XV6600 and Blackberry 7250: Opera/9.50 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/4.0.10406/298; U; en)) and with the major carriers offering unlimited plans now, it may not be realistic for tmobile to want to get rid of customers on the unplan, which will also hurt your chances of getting out of a contract... on the plus side I dont think has a 30 day notice requirement like suncom |
