I got the dreaded call failed message (ATT-Cingular, Razr). What was weird was I could make local calls no problem, but call to Pennsylvania would either return call failed or got the operator with "you call cannot be completed...". I tried for over an hour. Obviously the phone is fine, signal is fine. My other cell worked fine (Tracfone). I'm curious, being a new customer, is this what I can expect from "the new AT&T"?? Maybe its all those iPhones clogging up the GSM network? TJ |

The problem you were experiencing was simply that AT&T did not have enough long distance trunk lines available to complete your call, especially since your tracfone worked fine, I am guessing it was an AT&T problem. Now whether there was some kind of outage or if there are capacity problems which you can expect on a regular basis I have no idea.
