I've been a VZ customer for a long time in middle TN, but lately have noticed poor quality and dropped calls. I'm seriously thinking of switching to Cingular now that it's building out a larger GSM network.......it's also cheaper, at least currently. I wondered what people thought of their coverage here. I do travel to Philadelphia, Pa occasionally, so any thoughts on that market would also be appreciated. |

Cingular is excellent in Nashville. Nashville is a 850 market that Cingular has built out quite well. I've seen some RF maps for the Nashville area with Cingular and I can tell you it's rock solid.

Cingular should work fine for you in Nashville and in Philly. Verizon coverage in Nasville has always been good for me, I normally swing through a couple times a year, maybe your phone is out of sorts?

Rasputin brings up a good question. Our first instincts are to blame dropped calls on the signal/coverage, but can't the phone also be at fault sometimes? Should we start a new thread on the subject?

Won't have a problem with Cingular in Philly.
