I was wondering which external cellular antenna is best? By external I mean mag-mount ones for vehicular/mobile use. Thank you!

Default External Antennas

In general -- A/S and Wilson antennas.

Specific recommendation -- I personally have an A/S ASPRDM1994 and it works VERY well.

Jeff,

I use the magnetic mount antenna but it is a generic one so there is no brand. My apartment is underground level and I had one bar and it always break up before I used the antenna. That antena works great for me!

Best Regards,

Default External Antennas

I'm looking at buying an antennae for my analog phone which is on the 800 MHz band. I saw in Wal-Mart, "repeater" or "passive" antennaes. Are these a ripoff or legit?

And if I opt to use an external mag for my T-Mobile phone, realistically barring terrain impingement, how much of an increase am I looking at; given normal atmospheric conditions?

Thanks!
