Gainesville, FL: Keep verizon, or change...
to T-Mobile. Reasons are this... i am on a regional plan now, and i will be going to the bay area of california for a couple of weeks over the new year. So i have to upgrade one way or another... plus it will only be like $2.50 more for me and my gf (we share a plan). now if i go w/ tmobile we will not get the family plan, we will probably stick w/ the $30 - 300anytime, unl. m2m/nites/weekends, 500txt msgs. 2 plans comes out to $60. right now, for verizon, we are paying $55 - 250anytime (for 2 lines), 350m2m, 2130nites/weekends. verizons comparable plan to tmobile is $59, for 400anytime(200 shared peak), 1000/250m2m... etc. plus i need a new phone (or at least a battery) for both of us.
but now, heres my persuasion for t-mobile. buy a mot. c332 phone $99 and plan w/ amazon, get $200 in rebates; unl. m2m; 500txt msgs, might be a nice thing to play around w/ with AIM, and polyphinc ringtones i can download/program. tho reading thru the boards, i hear verizon is much better coverage, etc, which im aware of. i travel as part of my job sometimes, and sometimes i expect to be in some rural areas in the south, but right now thats hardly ever, and i guess i can live with no coverage. and yes, i know about the fact that a fancy fone wont do much if you dont get service, but i havent heard many complaints about their service. am i justified in my persuasion? thanks.
