Was looking at the Breakthrough 10000 plan when it first came out & was told by a store & on the phone customer service that the direct connect & nights/weekends were inlimited. Also saw that when it first came out on their webpage. Now the webpage lists direct connect 4000 minutes & nights/weekends 5000 minutes. Did they make a running change. Was just about to sign up but now I don't know. I would probably never use close to the minutes shown but it is the point of it where it was unlimited when it first came out. Also they said after the year is up if the plan is discontinued you do not keep it like on other companies. With cingular now with unlimited weekends/nights with no contract whereas the new contracts give 2000 minutes.

The Nextel National Breakthrough 10000 does include unlimited night & weekend minutes and unlimited direct connect. Since, they are marketing as having 10000 minutes, Nextel advertises 1000 anytime, 5000 n&w, 4000 dc. Nextel claims research shows people respond better to large buckets of minutes versus just saying unlimited. Nextel, like other wireless carriers, reserves the right to change your rate plan at any time, as long as they notify you of the changes. Hope this helps.

You likewise have the right to get out of a contract without penalty if they change it in any way that would cause you to pay more or get less (with any carrier).

thats correct, alot of carriers sign you up on plans that may or maynot have a shelf life of the length of your initial contract..( some are only good for one or two years)this is for the promotions usually.....can be really agrivating
