Using AT&T GSM service in MD/DC area.

I have had service with AT&T for about two weeks now. I'm using the sony ericsson T68i. I have been testing the call quality from Owings Mills, MD to Alexandria, VA. So far so good! I have only one drop call and the connection is really fast, unlike with Sprint.

Also, it seems to work ok in buildings. I use my phone sometime at work just to see how good the connection is and weather it will drop the call. In addition I have used it in my home, from where Sprint always dropped my calls, and the connection was good.

I all so asked my friends which whom I was talking with on the phone if they could hear me clearly and more than once I was told that I sounded like I was on a land line.

I haven't had the chance to use the GPRS for I really don't have anyone that I could send file too as yet.

So to sum this all up, I'm pretty pleased with the service versus what I had with Sprint. I really hope that At&t continues to expand the GSM service. From what I have been reading across the net, GSM will soon be the leading wireless technology across the US.
