hey everyone, this is my first post on here. im looking into getting my first wireless phone, i live in the uper part of south carolina (about 50 miles away from greenville) and i was looking at verizon, suncom, and alltell. i just was wondering if anyone has delt with these companies in this area, thanks alot !

In order of my preference (coverage ONLY):

1) VZW
2) SunCom
3) ALLTEL

ALLTEL is reported to have very bad coverage in Clemson, among other areas.

I have not been in that area but generally speaking I would stay away from Suncom.

I agree with Stanley (roamer1) go with Verizon Wireless or SunCom. I'd recommend that you avoid ALLTEL as they have seem to have a poor network in some places.
