    Hello,

Noticed this new prepaid service provider...looks like it's owned by Virginicon Records? I looked on their website...and they have the same logo eventhough no documentation as to who owns them were found there!

Has anyone used this service yet in the DFW area? I'm thinking to tell my friend to get it cus she won't be here for more than a year...so prepaid makes a lot of sense...since her car is old/and beat-up it might be a good idea to have a phone handy.

    Thanks!

yes Virgin Mobileicon is one of the VIrgin companies owned by billionaire brit Richard Branson.......... and Virgin Mobileicon phones all work (resold) on the Sprinticon network (and 2 way SMS is supported!).......so if you like Sprinticon coverage you'll like Virgin Mobileicon coverage it is one and the same.

Actually, Richard Branson sold the Virginicon Music Group (Virginicon Records) to EMI over a decade ago, and it has no connection with any of the other Virgin Group companies. Virgin Mobileicon does have one advantage over its chief competitors: airtime, regardless of purchase price (their cheapest cards are $20) lasts for 90 days. It also extends the length of time you can use your current balance for the same 90 day period, meaning airtime basically never expires as long as you "top up" every 90 days. They chargeicon $0.25 for the first 10 minutes each day, then $0.10 per minute thereafter.
