I don't have Sprint in Baltimore but I have Sprint in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I've been with them for almost 2 years and can't stand them... Every time you turn around you have to commit for another year. The customer service is non-existant, and I mean literaly. They are rude, unknowledgeable, frequently make up excuses like, "the system is updating" or "call back later". I would suggest not to even bother.

unless you have feedback on baltimore you are not really helpin this guy out. as far as commiting, like most other wireless carriers if you switch your plan you resign a contract, unless you are in the first year of a 2 yr contract then it does not renew. other than that sprint does not make you commit to another contract. some carriers make you resign a contract if you change equipment (i have heard;anybody can verify this?) sprint does not. | |

I can verify this my self. Verizon does this, they give you the phone at the activation price but what they don't tell you is that you are signing a new contract with them.

Sprint changed my plan without my knowledge or consent. They said I changed it on-line, but the only time I ever went on-line with Sprint was to check the minutes on my HUSBAND'S phone. It wasn't even my phone we were inquiring about. Sprint would not put me back on my old plan which had more daytime minutes. I'm not stupid!!! I would not voluntarily switch to a plan with fewer daytime minutes- which also cost more!!! |

i live around baltimore and i have both sprint and voicestream. my parents have service with att. hands down the att service in baltimore has improved. my parents hardly use the phone but they wanted a family plan and my dad got a good deal so they went with att. but anyways, i have no complaints at all with my sprint phone's service. this is the weird part, sprint service works the best in my house, like i can go anywhere and have no problems, voicestream isnt bad either, att service is spotty around my area, but get this verizon doesnt have great service at all in my area. like there is no recpetion most of the time, so calls usually get routed to the voicemail. although alot of people i know love their verizon service. but overall for the baltimore area i do strongly recommend sprint. good luck in your choice and make use of the trial periods.
