Default Cingular or Voicestream in Southwest Virginia?

I have noticed in a couple of other posts that Cingular and Voicestream are in SW VA. Is this only in far SW VA? I am in Roanoke which is considered SW VA but when I go to the websites for Cingular and Voicestream it tells me service is not available in my area. So, does anyone know if these services are available in Roanoke? Thanks!!!

Does anyone think they have plans to add coverage to Roanoke and/or surrounding areas?

VoiceStream doesn't have a license in Roanoke. The one they won in an auction is tied up in the US Supreme Court

Cingular also doesn't have a license in Roanoke. So your answer is no there isn't going to be any VoiceStream or Cingular coverage added there soon if ever.
