Looking for best service in the Ft. Lauderdale area

I'm looking for the best service in the Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beach/Miami area. I'm between Cingular, Verizon and Voicestream, any suggestions?...

Verizonicon or Sprinticon PCS would be your best bet, they both have great coverage in Ft. Lauderdale, and cover most of the state. I would wait untill Voicestream builds out their network alittle more.

I just cancelled my contract with Sprinticon, so they are ruled out.

I have a Nokia 8260 that I can use with Cingular. You recommend Verizonicon but not Cingular, why?

Which are the best Verizonicon phones?

Hi Psyche, I'm sorry to hear Sprinticon PCS didn't work out for you. I've always had great
experiences with them in Florida. Unfortunately I can't give you any info on Cingular in
Florida because I've never had any experience with Cingular, they don't sell or have service
in my home state. I travel a lot, I just left South Beach and I'm now at my condo in Wildwood, NJ.
During my 2 week stay in Boca Raton and south beach I brought two phones with me, Verizonicon
& Nextelicon, both worked flawlessly.
If you would like some more info please let me know I would be happy to help...

Hi Rich, Thank you for your help.
I almost decided on Verizonicon, but somebody told me that Cingular in going into GSM and it's better than CDMA (Verizonicon),
Is it really better, is there a big difference?

First, their is no validity is your comment. I'll tell you what, you find me a cellular company that will guaranty me never to drop a call, and I'll pay your cell phone service for a year.....I DIDN'T THINK SO!!!

I'm guessing this is Psyche, you probably forgot to log in???
Well, currently Cingular is a TDMA technology (First digital technology & old) It will take
Cingular years to convert Florida over. Verizon has their new 3G service (Newest version of CDMA) online in Florida and I find it to be better than anything out there, and remember you have 15 days to try it out...
