No, but I activate for that market. (DC-Baltimore) market. I heard Cingular is ok is DC, but in Maryland they are having a little problem, but in Washington as well as Virgnia they are really good.

Sorry to hear about Cingular's little problem, whatever that may be.

I heard Voicestream is great in D.C. I have friend that uses it there. He will probably make his way to this thread pretty soon.

I heard that Cingular service in Maryland is not up to par, as it is in DC and Virgnia. That what I heard from one salesman that sells service for that area.

Well it seems as though Epinions.com users don't like Cingular's service in the Baltimore/DC area they only have a 38% recommedition rate on there and from the reviews it looks like some people complain about customer service and local coverage in that area.

Try it for yourself. There is no substitute for first hand experience. The bulk of comments on the internet are negative and can't be assumed to be the average user-mostly disgruntled ones looking to vent.

I think that Cingular has made mistake in many markets, by offering unlimited mobile to mobile , alot of people in this market activates with the moblie to moblie feature. I think that is what clogging up Cingular system.

Hey everyone, I am going to really try to get Matt to come on here and give his experience in D.C. with his wireless provider. He is the only one here who can give a first-hand experience of the provider that he has.

We don't care about VoiceStream in DC, the Question was about Cingular and Cingular only.

Well here I am

Actually, I do have a comment on Cingular though. My friend in my office next to me has Cingular. He gives it generally good reviews, except for 9pm-10pm on weeknights - the first hour of off-peak time. He doesn't use many anytime minutes, but I think he does use a lot of n/w minutes (1000 maybe).

dukedog - I thought I read in another thread you are from Dallas? But you activate DC users? Are you a CS rep?
