That article sited one concern I had never even thought of--the possible need to raise the landing altitude of planes in order to clear the wireless tower in its approach to the airport. The angle of landing is very important; the steeper the slope of descent, the more critical the landing can become.

I live in an area where single-engine crop dusters are used. One day going to work I saw a bi-plane flying so low over the main road out of town that it worried me for a while. I realized he was just making his pass to dust a field. I wish I had had my camera! What a shot that would have made.
