I like my Verizon Southeast calling plan. It is not available anymore, so I don't want to let it go. My Nokia Verizon phone is dead. How and where can I locate a selection of phones that works with Verizon--and are competitively priced? |

Go to Verizon itself. They should not require you to change plans just because you "upgrade" your phone. Verizon actually has an excellent "appreciation" scheme to keep customers loyal.

If you want me to mail you one, I don't mind. I have a stock. If you want to renew your contract, I can't get credit for it since you're in Tennesee, but if you just need a new phone I've got some that cost me between $60 - $100. I'll mail you one if you want it. Phone number is 972-849-1865. You can text message me at 9728491865@vtext.com if you'd rather. Same goes for any of you other guys. I can only get credit for stuff in Texas and in some of the surrounding areas as far as contract renewals. Sorry I've been out of contact so long. This new job has a lot of outside stuff w/ it, and not much down time. Plus, I'm doing a side cell phone business. But, I have definately gotten a real good education on telecommunications these past few months. |

It looks like all the regional plans are disappearing in favor of the network type plans like America's Choice or the ATTWS Network Advantage Plan. Too bad for some of us who need coverage in "holes" not covered and thus would have to pay roaming charges . To bad the regional plans are going away .

My phone has not died but I would like to change phones. I currently use a StarTac 7868 on the Verizon network. I would like to change to the Kyocera 2235. I have a year left on my contract and do not wish to extend it at this time, so buying a phone from Verizon is out of the question. I have been watching ebay but I'm a little leary because I know some people have bought phones they couldn't use. If anyone knows where I can purchase the 2235 relatively inexpensively, please let me know. Greg |
