Default Looking for GSM Repeater

Anyone know of a company that has a GSM repeater that I could use with portability from house to condo?

Even if I had to purchase two (one for each location) that would be okay as well but I just need more signal strength in my house using my T-mobile phones.

Please don't tell me to purchaes one of those stick on antennas either because I did that (a few years ago) and my 3595 (without the stick-on) has a better reception than my primary 8290 Nokia.

I've seen the website http://www.bda-usa.com/ and was wondering if anyone had purchased a unit from this guy?

Thanks for the help. I'm new to this forum and am looking forward to learning lots from here.

Spotwave equipment is also specific to your wireless carrier so if you change carriers you will have to change equipment.

Good news for you! Wilson has a SOHO (small office/home office) dual-band cellular amplifier that works with GSM as well as Cellular/PCS... it has 50 dB gain and rocks. You can use it in an RV or large boat as well so not just for in house use; but because of the high gain, it works best there. As far as being portable; you can get a dual-band mobile wireless and use it in your car or in the house... just get the suction cup antenna bracket to mount an "outside" antenna to receive the signal and then one inside to re-broadcase it... either a panel or mini-magnet mount antenna will work... just needs a grounding plane. Anyway, check out PowerfulSignal dot com and they have plug and play kits you can order... talk to Lee or Kevin about what you're trying to do they're knowledgable about all the amplifier options. Hope that helps! You can visit Wilson's home page too for more info... just Google them ;-)

Spotwave has good inbuilding products but expensive and for large buildings. SignalReach is questionable on receiver sensitivity and that is why you have a problem... weak signal and hard to go out and get it. I'd recommend a Wilson amp because they have sound engineering and the company has been around over 40 years... just my opinion though.

By now since this thread is 3 years old, I am sure the OP either found something to work or got a different carrier.
