Houston: Cingular, SBC, DSL - 20% discount???

Anyone familiar with this offer. I recently got landland line service and DSL service with Southwestern Bell. The operator advised me that if I add Cingular cell service I will get 20% off each month's bill.

I am currently with Verizon and my cell phone bill has been running about $180 to $200 per month (1800 min, family share plan). I am happy with Verizon's service, but it's expensive. The Cingular offer seems like a pretty good deal. Plus, they apparently roll over unused minutes. Do they combine everything and take 20% off the total bill, or just the cell bill?

How is Cingular's service in Houston?

Any comments on Cingular's service in Houston or pricing would be appreciated.

Cingular's coverage in Houston is great. I've used them for years and haven't had the signal problems that I did when I used GTE (It's been a while since i changed!). I have a national plan but my wife uses the Texas calling area and I think it's a very good price for what you get. Just my opinion.

I have cingular and I also work for Cingular In College Station.. I have heard of the discounts and everything.. THe GSM service works great there, I was just there not to long ago......... so if you are paying that much, a discount would probably be great.....
