Default Verizon Coverage in Outer Banks of N.C.?

I was wondering how Verizonicon's coverage is in Outer Banks (from the north to the south part of the banks) of North Carolina?

Also, how is the signal in from Raleigh eastward to the coast?

I am planning a vacation there next year.

Is the service analog or all-digital?

Also, does anyone know how the coverage for Verizonicon is in the Naples/Ft. Myers area?

    Thank you
    My Carriers:

Currently Verizonicon's coverage in that area is provided by Alltel or US Cellular, they don't have native coverage in that area, however it is covered under the america's choice plan. (Although I have heard about some rumors of a buy out....who knows?)
