Default Best Service in AL, GA, TN area

I have just moved to Huntsville, AL and currently have Sprint, but find my coverage spotty where I work and live. I will primarily be in Alabama, but will travel to Atlanta, Nashville, and smaller towns west of Chatanooga about once a month. (As soon as I leave Huntsville city limits and head north on a state highway, my phone stays in roam until I return to an interstate or major city.)

Which carrier would offer me the best service? I plan to go with a national plan since I will on occasion travel to Connecticut and South Carolina. I appreciate any feedback and help ya'll can give. Thanks.

The answer to this one's easy: Verizon.

Verizon Wireless. A America's Choice Plan should work well for you.
