Question Lost phone HELP!

I currently have (2) audiovox 8900, signed with VZW about (6) months ago. My wife is at Disney for a week and just called me to inform me that she just lost her phone. I contacted VZW and they suspended the line for now until she find the phone or else.
I was waiting for the V710 to come out to replace both phones.
My question is: what is my best option in this situation?
Will the issurance replace the 8900 with another or the V710?
HELP PLEAAASE.

The insurance company will replace the phone with the same or one of equal value. It is their choice, it will be a refurb and probably not the v710. To the best of my knowledge, your only choice is to get a replacement phone, which makes you "whole" again. Then pursue the same course of action, that you were planning, before the loss.

If it were me, I would wait a week or two, get the V710. If you can live a week or 2 without the second phone, you save the 50.00 deductible. In addition you will not have used up one of your two insurance claims in a 12 month period.
