Starting on June 27 Cingular's prepaid service will change, for the users in North/South Carolina, Coastal GA, and Eastern TN. Instead of being charged daily for text messages, they will be 5 cents to send/receive. Enhanced voice mail will be 15 cents per day. They will also add the following: -Larger national coverage area at local rates -Ability to roam off-network -Browsing the web -Downloading polyphonic ringtones, games, and color graphics -Mobile Instant Messaging using AOL Instant Messenger on select handsets **Also you can use your cingular phone internationally.. **And you can add funds to your account over the Internet using a credit card, major debit card or electronic check. I think I may actually change my service back to Cingular since they will be improving their KIC network *** I know this for a fact because they sent me a letter in the mail.. |

Is the wap (web browsing) free or are they going to charge per KB. I have been hearing that KIC may go nation wide too.

It's about time Cingular did this, I wonder if they'll do this for California too.
