|  Cingular now has GSM in Tampa.
Cingular has finially turned on GSM in Tampa. This morning when I turned on my T62u it went to GSM. No more searching for GSM then going to TDMA. I now see a "G" instead of the "T" after the antenna signal strength. The local Cingular store told me they were going to turn it on June 11th, but that did not happen, but it did work on June 15th. I looked at their web site but it is still showing the T62u, 6340i and 3 TDMA phones. The web site has not yet been updated to GSM phones.

Must only be up in certain parts of the city. Neither my GSM phone nor Aircard will find Cingular's network in the Rocky Point/Airport area as well as in Brandon.
