Default Huge problem - help me recover my numbers!

I have a T637 and earlier this week it frooze up on me. I restarted and then the problem began - the phone continually restarts shortly after booting up. I have tried removing the battery and sim card, changed batteries with my wife's phone (same model), tried her sim card, but nothing. It continues to start up, asking for my phone code, and reboots. If I don't enter the passcode, it still reboots itself. Does anyone know what this is a symptom of? Can it be fixed?

I was told by a friend that I might be able to take the 'memory' out of my T637 and put it into my wife's T637 to get all my data out - can this be done? Where is the memory? What does it look like?

Please help - like a fool I did not back up all my data from the phone and I really need to get the more important ones. Anything you may be able to suggest is GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul
