I purchased a SonyEricsson t68i for an upcoming trip to Europe. I plan to purchase a prepaid SIM while I'm there. Unfortunately, it appears that I am unable to do ANYTHING with the phone until I put a SIM in it. When I turn it on it says "Insert SIM" and won't do anything else. Is this just the "nature of the beast" and there's nothing I can do about it or is there a way to at least get into the menus so I can play around with the phone to try to get used to it before my trip. Thanks, James |

Sorry, but you basically can't do anything with a GSM phone unless you insert a SIM card in it.
