NEW YORK, Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Conduits Technologies, Inc. announced today the release of Pocket Player 3.51 for Windows Mobile. Pocket Player aims to satisfy consumers who demand more from a media player experience. In addition to a media library with touch-scrolling ability, full-screen album artwork, and Universal Plug-and-Play (UPnP) support, Pocket Player supports podcasts, streaming radio, and user ratings. Pocket Player was recently named the winner in Audio at the 2007 Smartphone and Pocket PC Magazine Best Software Awards.

MEDIA BROWSER ENHANCEMENTS FOR 3.51

The Pocket Player media browser now allows users to browse by song, artist, album, genre, or release date. The browser's catalog is automatically updated when files are added or removed; and by adding a memory card, can manage thousands of tracks.

For touchscreen devices, simple finger gestures can now navigate the browser list. A quick swipe will scroll through the list items. When the desired item slides into view, a tap stops the motion so the user can select the item.

The browser's Album View displays cover artwork thumbnails, which appear alongside album and artist names. During playback, full-screen album artwork is displayed along with the track position, user rating, and the song, artist and album names.

The built-in Web Guide permits users to browse and stream from MP3 Blogs and podcasts. Pocket Player can also stream from UPnP servers such as Orb or Windows Media Player 11.
