Press Release Source: IceWEB, Inc. IceWEB(TM) Announces Industry's First SmartPhone Autoprovisioning Wednesday September 12, 9:58 am ET IceMAIL(TM) First Exchange Provider Enabling Clients To Auto-Provision BlackBerry(TM), Palm Treo(TM), and Microsoft Windows Mobile(TM) PDA SmartPhone Devices HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IceWEB, Inc., IceWeb (OTCBB:IWEB - News), announced that the company has completed enhancements to the IceMAIL service which now, for the first time, allow clients who have BlackBerry or other smart devices to automatically provision those devices for synchronization on the IceMAIL network. The IceMAIL system already provided for automatic account creation of Exchange mailboxes immediately upon a customer online purchase but now extends this functionality to BlackBerry Enterprise Server, GoodLink, and ActiveSync. Customers may now, with a few mouse-clicks fully enable their wireless PDA to synchronize email, calendar, contacts, tasks, and more. The new Automatic Provisioning services are driven by IceWEB's proprietary Account Control Panel, a web-based dashboard environment through which customers have the ability to self-administer Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and other IceWEB hosted services. The Account Control Panel, while providing highly advanced capabilities, masks the complexities of managing a business class Microsoft Exchange environment - ensuring that IceWEB clients spend less time managing their environment and more time managing their businesses. Gary Dunham, VP of Corporate Development for IceWEB said, "IceWEB provides world class live Customer Service to help our clients, however, the fact is that many small and medium business customers desire an increased level of "self service". This recent upgrade to the IceWEB Account Control Panel empowers our customers to enable "over the air" provisioning and configuration of their wireless PDA so that it synchronizes to their IceMAIL mailbox. Customers can instantly enable or disable PDA devices at will with no obligation or minimum term of service. Additionally, IceMAIL's Control Panel, now provides administrators with the security capability of performing a "remote wipe" on any lost or stolen device. This "remote wipe" capability is critical to ensure that valuable and/or proprietary business data contained on the lost or stolen PDA does not fall into the wrong hands. Upon receiving a replacement PDA, customers can re-enable their new PDA and begin synchronizing email, calendars, contacts, and tasks immediately because of the upgraded IceMAIL provisioning system."
