Hey guys, I just purchased an unlocked 7280. I need to know how (if possible) can I delete all the old contacts in the phone and if I can import my sim contacts. Thanks!

Wipe the phone of all prior settings (including contacts, appointments, messages, etc...)

Go to "Options", then "Security", then "Wipe Handheld"

Yeah, someone else suggested that, I don't have that option.

Yes you do, it is part of any blacberry, go to settings, security, general settings. Once in General Settings push in the trackwheel, a submenu will appear, one of the selections is wipe handheld. If there is password it will ask you for it, it is the same password you used to unlock the unit when it autolocks. After it is wiped the unit will be just like it came out of the box. In other words, any stored contacts, calander entries etc will all be gone.

To access stored names and numbers on the SIM when you have the address book open push in the track wheel look for "SIM Phone Book" and select that. It will load the phone book currently stored on the SIM
