Default Treo as modem...
I have Cingular Internet Service on my Treo. How easy is it to connect it to laptop and have it function as a modem allowing me to surf net on my laptop off Cingular's service?

My dad does it with his Treo 650 on Cingular. He uses a USB data cable and CIngular's dialup software. He connects at about 100k on it.

Are you running a Treo 700w? (I don't recall if Cingular is offering them). If so, then try pdanet from www.junefabrics.com

I use it on my Treo 700w with Verizon and it rocks!
