I get this error when i try to create a password so i can upload pictures online on my sanyo 5300

Error 99 is an uncommon (but not unheard of) error with this phone. Sprint's trouble shooting recommends reflashing the software (you need to take it to a store to do this) and if the problem persists, the handset should be swapped
