I just bought a Sanyo 5300 (12/15) and I am looking for a simple, unobtrusive ring. Tone 1 is the only ringer that is not obnoxious. All the websites I visit only have pop music or other weird ringers that last 30 seconds or more. I don't want to be embarrased in a meeting. Any ideas? Also, anyone now where I can get some cool Star Trek animation or screen savers for the phone (yes, I am a geek).

Thanks -- but I checked them out and as far as I can tell, they are the same ones that come with the phone. I am really looking for something simple so as not to draw attention to myself in the middle of a meeting (how many times is the CEO embarrased by her phone playing "WHO LET THE DOGS OUT")?

from your phone goto www.3gvisioncorrection.com under RINGERS-NORMAL-MOTOROLA RINGER that is a very simple ringer. also on www.matrixm.com (from your PC) create an account it is free. then under RINGTONES-NONMUSICAL there should be on the first page one called MODERN PHONE. it is free and sounds like a normal phone. there are some other normal tones on matrixm.com- i dont remember where there are a ton of them but it may cost you about $1/each to get em. oh and i get a lot of errors on my browsers when i try to send ringers from matrixm.com to my phone. it isnt the browser I've tried netscape and IE. their website has issues. if it doesnt work i just try back a few hours later and it usually works then. |

Thanks tons. I will try this. I am surprised phone mfgr. don't offer more normal rings. Most of the rings are so obnoxious! |
