Sanyo 4500 --> Sanyo 5300... But when?

So... my Sanyo 4500 for some reason searches for service more than it has service.... I took it to the Sprint Store to have the software updated, etc. and it still searches for service more than it has service... This problem seemed to start out of nowhere. I've always had great reception with this phone. I bought a Sanyo 4900 and I had service all over the place, when I'd look over at the 4500 it'd read "Searching for Service..." I returned the 4900 in anticipation of the new Sanyo 5300 (When my 4500 started acting up I wanted the 5150, but I also wanted it to be Vision compatible... then I read of the 5300). Now I am dealing with a phone that searches for service almost all the time and I'm left waiting for the release of the 5300...

SO!

Does anyone know where I should look to buy this 5300 when it's finally released? Are there online vendors that get these phones quicker than other places? Do the Sprint Stores receive them before other sales outlets? Any information that would help me get a new phone ASAP would be much appreciated... not only by me, but by the people I have to talk to on my phone...
