Default Rebates on Sanyo 4900 for existing Sprint customers?

The phone appears to sell for $180. I have a Samsung 3500 that has broken in too many places. I need a new phone. It appears that the 4900 is the phone to get. I don't know if I need the vision technology, but a strong battery and reception is what I'm favoring. It seems that all the rebates available apply to new customers only. Are there any rebates for existing customers? Is the vision technology more for fun or is it where cell technology is going?

Default Rebates on Sanyo 4900 for existing Sprint customers?

When I got my 4900 it did not cost me anything. My local SPCS store, Richmond IN, was having an upgrade promotion for existing subscribers. They had this little matrix that showed the eligible rebates being $50-$200 off a new phone as long as you committed to a new 2yr vision contract. I had SPCS for over a year and my monthly plan was over $100 so I qualified for the maximum rebate amount. I hope this helps.

I think it started at $75 or so and went up to $200.

I have a $50 a month plan and they have offered me $150 in credit for a new phone for a 1 year contract.
