Ok, here's a latest rumor, after visting howard forums-sprintpcs, reading others comments that some of them our buying the 5500 phone!! Well ok i called Sprint pcs and talk to sales to order the 5500 (actually tell them you want vm4500) he was about to take my order place me on hold to check on rebates well he came back on after talking to his supervison and told they can't sell this yet., but he did say the phone was $379. so i take as it's going to be cheaper after the rebates?? Anyway he gave a hint to go to my sprint store on monday to look for it! Then i called billing at sprintpcs ask them about adding Readylink to my account well them to get the phone first, currently i'm the $10. vision plan that will increase to $15, and then add $5.00 for Rl...also the cs told it will not effect my phone plan which is $29.99, for 300 min...so anyway the 5500 (vm4500) is coming soon..

I got my VM4500 today at the Sprint PCS Store in Cambridge, MA - very cool! Just arrived today and I scooped one up.

Just pick my 4500 about 30 mins ago, after visting couple of Sprint stores, wondering if there was time frame they had to release it, went to one store and they told was'nt avaible intill 2nd week in Dec..so i though i would try another store and sure enough they sold me one...playing with the setting and now trying to fiqure out the Ready link, so far it search for readylink and then states unable to find readylink..

I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!! About 30 minutes ago! Now, I have to call my girlfriend not to come tonight because I got something better to play with tonite! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Kidding. I will post something after I figure out something interesting about this new SCP-5500 or VM4500.

I played around with one in a Sprint store today...very nice phone. I love the fact that it isn't silver like 99% of all other Sprint phones.
