Default Replacement/Water

Hi,
I am wondering if someone here could help me and let me know if the Sprint Equipment Replacement Program covers water damage? I have been told a couple different things. My phone, a SCP-8100, was damaged due to water. It still works, but there are some buttons that will not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

pretty much anything that happens to the phone, from braking it to having it chewed by a dog, is covered, just remember that there is a $35 deductible if they need to send you a new one and it would most likely be a refurbished phone unless they pull it rright out of a new box at the sprint store

OK, well that's stupid if that's the case. If that is the case take your water damaged phone and throw it into a field and then it is "lost"

Verizon's insurance plan covers any damage at all...even if I drop my phone in front of a passing bus.

Yes, ERP does cover water damage. I live on a boat in the great lakes and have droped my phone in the lake twice. I simply called ERP, told them of my misfortune, paid the deductable, and had a new phone in two days. The SprintPCS store rep also had told me when I call ERP to tell them I had water damage...and they sent me a new home charger too, free of charge even tho it wasen't damaged. So now I have a charger at home and work.

I forgot to add...the second time I had lost the phone in the lake, it was irretreivable. So ERP had me file a police report saying the phone was lost via lake. lol Then they sent me a new one.

isn't funny how reps always make their own policies when they are not sure about something.

I'll be honest, if I felt I was under paid i'd give my quality work for some time but over time realize that it's not worth it for what i'm getting paid. Don't get me wrong, I do have a certain standard for my work, but if I feel like i'm being taken advantage of.... That's a different story.
Everyone knows that the better a program is the better a person does. Make the program friendlier and more incentives for the people to know their sh*t and they'll be more knowledgable.

yes and then thats when a promotion comes into place if they see that you are competitive and have kept with it all along regardless of the punishments
