Default 8100 backlight when talking?

I heard from someone that the backlight on the screen doesn't turn off when you are talking on the phone. Is this true?

Thanks,
Mark

How dim does it get when that happens. I have a 4900 and am trying to think how dim?

Thanks,

hmm... Dimm enough to see what is on your screen, or about 50% of normal brightness.

You think if there was a way to change it it would be under SETTINGS and then DISPLAY. I don't know why they would put it anywhere else!

Ok as I said the dim light goes off after 90 seconds but this feature is not listed in the backlight menu its listed under sleep mode. Go to Settings, Display, Sleep Mode & their you could set it to 30, 60 or 90 seconds or completlt off.
