Thumbs up Very nice case for Sanyo 5500

Well i got my Bytech Tux case today, compliments of Mr. AnthroMatt...
thanks again Matt.

You weren't kidding either when you said it was nice, i didn't expect it for it to fit so flush with the phone, everything fits just right in all the right places, Body Glove has nothing on this one, ironicaly i got an e-mail from Eastmanwireless today that they have the cases back in stock, HA! cancel that order!

thanks a million Anthro...

Woo hoo!

I hate my case for my V600. Doesn't fit well. Plus the part that protects the screen ripped out so now I have only the buttons and back protected (it has the option to be a 1/2 case, too). It's an AT&T Wireless brand case because I guess Motorola doesn't make they're own .

i was going to recommend EastmanWireless.com to you but it looks like they don't carry a case for the v600...eastmanwireless.com

So you finally got a phone Gideon, how do you like your v600 so far?

PM ShoresGuy, he has a extra brand new V series case which is very nice. And he is willing to sell it, if he still has it.

I saw that on the old WA and I saw that you took a liking in it, too for your V400 . I actually might get it if my eBay auctions don't use-up most of my credit card this month .

And hey Tony! I really love my V600. Everything about it is great. Excellent voice quality even in rural areas or on speakerphone, nice size, nice screen, good camera, but I hate how it scratches itself when I don't have my case! (Screen scratched by buttons, outside it scratched by the hinge when opened). And I hate having my bad case on but that's the only way to protect it for now I guess.

Do you mean the one where the volume keys on the case don't quite match up with the keys on the phone with the extended battery? If so, yes. Perfect fit with the standard battery though.

Hey, I went to the Bytech website and saw the photo for the Shuttle case. Looks interesting but they don't show one specifically for the Sanyo 5500. The one shown looks like it would fit a newer Samsung better. Or is that just an example? I'm curious to know if this case actually fits everything on the 5500? Currently, I have a case from Sprint that's really meant for another Sanyo version but that's the one they said was made for my phone, as well. The bad part is it doesn't cover all the keys in the lower half of the phone...just 4 through # keys, which is sufficient coverage for the older phone it was created for. And it fits loosely.

yes mtnmedic, this case is awesome, eastmanwireless does not show pictures for the 5500 version but they do carry them, i got the TUX version courtesy of A.M. but you can definitely order one from eastman....here's an example of what they look like, i think these are the silver ones but you can get the all black one which like i said is called the TUX...bytech cases

above is the TUX version..

I think the Body Glove ones posted at Sprintusers are much nicer than the Bytech brand and much better quality, i'm sure you seen them there...
Eastmanwireless which is a big distributor for Bytech cases does not have the case for the 8300 available yet..
