Question Samsung t809 SMS - saving to phone memory

I"m sorry if this has been asked before (I did some searching first), but does anyone know a way to make SMS messages I receive on my Samsung t809 save to the phone memory by default? The current default, which I can't find a way to change, is for them to be saved to the SIM card, which can only hold about 30 messages. This means you constantly get an annoying icon when your memory is full, you start losing one message for every one you get, and the only way to save them to the phone memory is to transfer them one at a time... a very tedious process. Meanwhile, the phone memory can hold up to 200 messages at once.

Is there some hack to make it save to the phone memory by default??
