I bought an s105 recently that was supposedly unlocked. I tried it with my cingular sim card and when i start the phone up it says..."wrong card"...what's going on?

is this because the phone is actually not unlocked. what can i do to fix this???

ya that sounds like its not unlocked. You can talk to t-mobile and tell them your going on a trip out of the states and need your phone unlocked, they should be able to get you the unlock code.

I don't think T-Mobile will give a Cingular customer an unlock code. You'll probably have to pay to get it unlocked or buy a datacable and unlock it yourself.
