does anyone know where i can download the software that is on the cd, i already got a cable and need to set it up to work on usb, if anyone could help it would be great

You'd be best off trying to find a copy of EasyGPRS. I have used that cable and it works better than the included CD. In fact, I couldn't get the included software to work at all.

i have a usb cable and its not on a com port so i cant get it to work i need the software so i can get the usb-to-serial brige thing so i can use it.

or if there is a different way then can anybody help

What you need is the USB-to-serial driver from Fone Data for your USB cable. Once you have that isntalled, you can use both the Fone Data software and the EasyGPRS (select the correct com in setup, usually com3). The Fone Data Suite's pic and music download doesn't work, but software is good for sync with Outlook. Here is the link for Fone Data Suite download. Hope this helps.
