Still can't get it to work, can someone help please?

not sure what I'm doing wrong, before it worked ok with the version 2.0.2, but like someone said on the thread, the phone looses the file. Then later on I try again, and easygprs had a hard time getting some things transfered over and closed connection. So I tried v.2.0.4, it seemed to be working nicely, looks like some bugs were fixed, but I still have the same problem, the data stuff couldnt get through when I try to get online mode. I can see the easygprs software trying to get the transfers over to the software, then have errors. Does anyone know what this means? I am running Win98 on a labtop with built in infrared. I tried installing the ircomm2k thingy but that was for 2k/xp and didnt let me install it. I'm not sure if my phone or software settings are correct. The infrared conection does work, but when I try to go online, it gives errors and closes connection. Can anyone help me please? thanks
