|  Need help on SCH E170 (From Korea)
Someone please advise how to enter naming/debug/test mode for SCH E170 It seems locked with code. Menu (2 sec) + 0 => Password (????) 5809540*45680 wont work.. Please help.... |

That's a tough one. Don't know anyone with that phone. You may have luck on HoFo as there are a number of people there with Korean phones.

2 steps: 1. Enter 74153697193 Security code should be 000000 (six zeros) will get you into NAM section You can modify the phone number, SID/NID, PRL, OTAPA, etc... just follow the menu option (use 2 top soft keys left and right) and select. hit on/off key to exit Phone will reboot.... 2. Enter 5809540*45680 will get you into Test mode. Press 01 press 21 enter 20yyy (where 20= 800Mhz and yyyy is the channel number) or enter 3yyyy (where 3= 1.9Ghz and yyyy is the PCS number) Press SAVE (key above the on/off key) Press 02 to exit and wait for phone restart You are done!
